This template is an inline alternative to {{Cleanup bare URLs}}.

Usage

Paste this after a bare-URL reference/link:

{{Bare URL inline|date=November 2024}}

[1]{{bare URL inline|date=November 2024}}
- Result: [2]^{[bare URL]}
https://en.wikipedia.org{{bare URL inline|date=November 2024}}
- Result: [3]^{[bare URL]}

This template places the article into both of the following categories:
- Category:All articles with bare URLs for citations
- Category:Articles with bare URLs for citations or a dated subcategory thereof.
