All the wizard's pages and components should be semi-protected. Enter your new article name here, the default name in the creation box at Ready to Edit, is fully protected, and has an edit notice Template:Editnotices/Page/Enter your new article name here telling people very loudly to use the back button. Since only users with permission to edit fully protected pages see that editnotice, a hack to MediaWiki:Titleprotected detects Enter your new article name here and transcludes the editnotice. In addition, Wikipedia:Article wizard/Wizard-New edit instructions avoids displaying edit instructions on the page Enter your new article name here.

Background

• The wizard was housed at Wikipedia:Article wizard2.0 because of the old wizard at Wikipedia:Article wizard
  • And was then moved to Wikipedia:Article wizard 2.0.
    • And then it was moved to Wikipedia:Article wizard; the old wizard now resides at Wikipedia:Article wizard/version1/old.
