This is the policy of this Wiki for the publication and editing of pages about specific people.

Public Information

When writing an article about a person, make sure to only use public sources of information or gain the persons approval to publish the information. Never publish photographs, personal information or links to personal social media sites without the express consent of the person in question. This is especially important for personal information about people from EU countries as they are covered by GDPR.

Relative objectivity

While social structures and history may be relevant, please make sure to not write about people in a subjective matter. Only enter what is confirmable by different sources, no matter their personal feelings or perspective.

Personal Marketing

Pages about people may never be used for personal marketing or branding. Go ahead and edit the page about yourself, but keep it clean. You can use other platforms to endorse your projects or business.
