Hawkins is designed as an immersive blockbuster experience, complete with set dressings, costumes, and arcade games, allowing participants to live out moments reminiscent of their favorite 80s movies. The game emphasizes collaborative storytelling, with pre-written characters featuring intricate backstories and conflicting goals. The event allows for 80-100 players over the course of four days, ending in an 80s dance.
